Esplanade Update

We are having a fantastic response with all of our parent helpers sooooo thank you!!!!

We will make a decision on Thursday morning at 8.30am regarding the weather.  Listen out or watch this space!!

Please remind your child to bring:

• a drink bottle
• warm clothing - jersey, socks, pants, singlets, thermals etc
• suitable shoes to walk in 
• school bag to carry all of our gear
• food - you might want to pack extra due to the long walk

IT IS NOT A MUFTI DAY :)

We Need You!!!

We are going to the Esplanade on the last Thursday of term and we are needing parental supervision.  If you are available to help us please come and see one of us or fill in the form and bring it back to school.

We can't do this without and parents and we thank you in advance for taking the time to be with our children.

Science expo

Hello to you all,

Just a reminder about our Science Expo on Friday and Saturday...

Science Expo 

Friday 26 June 3pm– 6pm 

Saturday 27 June 9am – 12noon 

We will host the Science Expo in the school hall. 

It is a special display set up for our parents to come 

and share the fantastic learning our children have 

undertaken in Science. It is an opportunity to 

celebrate the Learning process ‘Te Ako Ritenga’ in action in science. Please try and visit during these times.  

Week 7 Notices

Craft/boxes/recycling items

We need items so we can make Gingerbread Man Traps on Friday.  If you have any spare boxes, plastic bottles, cardboard etc please bring them into school for us to use.

Mornings

Please remember that the time for entering the classroom is 8.30am.  Teachers use this time for preparing the day and aren’t generally in the classroom before then.

Clothing

We have a missing t-shirt, Logan lost his on Friday after we went swimming.  Please have a look for his t-shirt at home.  If you come across it bring it into the classroom, thanks.  We also have a number of things left in the classroom, please remember to label clothing so it is easier to return them to their own.

We are trialling out Google Docs for our free writing.  Our children want to share these with you at home.  Please fill in your home email address, if you are interested, so we can link you into your child’s learning.
